This Personal Data Protection Notice and Policy (hereafter referred to as “Policy”) sets out the basis on which MICE Online Hotels LLP (“MOL”), the owner/service provider of www.miceonline.in (“MOL webSite”) and/or the iOS or Android mobile application (“MOL App”) (MOL website and MOL mobile App together are referred to as “MICE Online Platform”) uses, collects, stores, processes, discloses and protects any personal data and/or information that we collect from you. MOL (“our”,”us” or “we”) is committed in protecting and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Information technology Act 2000.

Any terms used in this Policy shall have the same meaning as those used in the Terms. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and this policy, the Terms shall prevail. Reference to the term ‘You’ or ‘Your’, refers to you as the user of the MICE Online Platform.

1.1. By clicking the accept/agree button, or by downloading the MOL App, or by providing us Your personal Information to the features provided by the MOL Online Platform, You hereby consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure and transfer of your personal data including sensitive personal data (“Your Information”) in accordance with the provisions of this Policy and You are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Policy.

1.2. You agree that You are providing to us Your Personal Information voluntarily and You have the option not to provide us the Personal Information.

1.3. You also have an option to withdraw Your consent any point in time as You deem fit, provided such withdrawal of consent is provided to us in writing at support@miceonline.in

1.4. Failure by You to provide Us with Your Personal Information, or in any event where You withdraw Your consent at any point in time will result in Us not being able to provide to you any services offered by the MICE Online Platform.

2.1. The methods by which we collect Your information include, but are not limited to the following:-

  1. When You register on the MOL Site and/or MOL App;
  2. When You create a profile on the MOL Website and/or MOL mobile App;
  3. When You provide Your Information to Us;
  4. When You use the features and/or services on the MOL website and/or MOL App;
  5. When You access our services and the MOL website / MOL App.

We may collect and process the following data about You. Your Information includes Personal Information and Non Personal Information. Collectively, Your Personal Information and Non Personal Information will be referred to as “Information”.

  5. Financial Information (Such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details);

  1. To provide You with the services offered / made available on the MOL Online Platform (“Services”);
  2. To process payments for such Services;
  3. To prepare any document or instrument which may be required for the Services and such other ancillary work in connection with the provision of the Services;
  4. To improve the Services offered – by reviewing and enhancing the quality thereof;
  5. To conduct data collating and analysis in relation to, and/or incidental with the Services;
  6. To notify You when updates are available for the MOL Site and/or MOL App;
  7. To market and promote the MOL Site, MOL App and the Services;
  8. To allow You to participate in interactive features of our Services when You choose to do so;
  9. To provide such necessary information to any regulatory or governmental authorities as required by statutory, regulatory or governmental requirements;
  10. For the internal administrative purposes of MOL;
  11. For MOL to communicate with you;
  12. For MOL to comply with its obligations under law or any regulations imposed by regulatory or governmental authorities;
  13. For any other purpose for which you give us Authorization

2. You hereby agree and consent to the storing, keeping, or maintaining of your Information in a facility, services, location or system, whether physical or virtual, inside or outside India, that is deemed most suitable and appropriate by MOL.

5. Sharing, Disclosure and Transfer of Information

5.1. There are circumstances in which we may share, disclosure and/or transfer Your Information with certain third parties, Vendors and/or Providers without further notice to You, as set forth below:

  1. Business Transfers: In the event of a corporate sale, merger, amalgamation, reconstruction or reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Your Information and other information that we have associated with Your Information may be part of the transferred of assets.
  2. Vendors and Providers: We may share Your Information and other Information that we have associated with Your Information, as necessary or desirable for the third party to provide such service services for us.

However, it may be necessary for MOL to engage third party companies, service providers or individuals to perform certain services on MOL’s behalf. In such event, you hereby agree and consent that MOL may disclose and transfer your Personal Information to third parties, within or outside Malaysia, including without limitations, as follows:

  1. Banks and financial institutions;
  2. Storage facility providers;
  3. External advisors and other professional advisors, such as auditors, lawyers, and
  4. Such other party as MOL deems necessary for the purposes mentioned in paragraph 4 above.

5.3. The Company shall also disclose and transfer the information to any statutory bodies, regulatory bodies and/or governmental authorities where legally required to do so.

6. Storing of Your Personal Data

6.1. We do not store your personal data on Your mobile device. We shall keep and process Your Information in a secure manner. We attempt, where practicable, to implement the appropriate administrative and security safeguards and procedures in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful processing of Personal Data and the accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, Your Information.

6.2. Where you have chosen a password that enables you to access certain parts of our Websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share the password with anyone.

6.3. Any payment made on MOL Website will be totally secured through a secured third party payment gateway.

6.4. All data will be stored on a secured 3rd party data processor in a secured manner.

7. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve our right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or delete portions of the terms of this Policy at any time.
